Thinking about the gender aspect of Etsy.com made me wonder how Etsy could be more involved in the international craft scene. While the website is of course available anywhere that an Etsy member can access the Internet, the bulk of Etsy users are in the United States. GlobeWomen isn’t focused exclusively on crafting, but instead has a broader focus of women-owned businesses.
